Spoon Carving Workshops
More Than Just A Workshop.
Spirit Wood is a return to the forest, the breath, the hands, and the ancient rhythm of wood and silence.
Beneath towering redwoods, we gather in sacred slowness. We begin with Shinrin-Yoku, awakening the senses and softening the edges of daily life. We walk barefoot. We breathe with the trees. We wander and listen.
What follows is not merely craft, but a ritual of connection— a spoon carved by your own hands, born from wood you’ve harvested in reverence. As you shape the spoon, the forest shapes you.
What You'll Experience:
Guided Forest Bathing (Shinrin-Yoku)
Attune to your senses and drop into embodied presence with the forest
Barefoot Walking Meditation

Solo Wandering & Nature Reflection

Council Practice Around a Communal Altar
Speak your truth, be witnessed, and listen deeply
Spoon Carving as Earth-Based Ritual
Learn to whittle with intention, using hand tools as a pathway into creativity, contemplation and nature-reconnection
Ecotherapy Practices for Integration
Cultivate a whittling practice to support you in using your hands more and being on screens less.
